This high torque impact is a beast! takes off harmonic balancer bolts with ease , the only problem i had with buying this package/kit was that the protective boot did not fit in the case once you put it on so you cannot close it , that was the only disappointment

I’m too old to use most tools these days’ so I was reluctant to order this ½-inch Impact Wrench ( Milwaukee 2967-21b). However, after a recent flat I was reminded of my diminishing strength to break loose lug-nuts. After spending half a day waiting for roadside help, I saw the light and ordered one. It’s rare when I have a flat but when it happens, it’s comforting to know that I can now zip through the task with less effort. When you look for a powerful impact driver, think Milwaukee. This 18V brushless impact wrench with friction ring has unmatched power and speed. The compact size (only 7.6 inches long) is capable to getting to tighter spaces. I was impressed by my ability to change sockets in a snap without any tools thanks to the friction ring. The drive control has 4 modes. It ate right through a couple of rusty hard to remove bolts like it was nothing. Best of all its brush-less so I expect it to last for many years. I especially noticed how the Tri-Led lights gave more light and reduced shadows. You get a lot of bang for your buck; the kit includes the impact wrench, battery, charger and a nice made bag. The impact wrench is a solid performer and I am proud to own it. Highly recommended.

The MILWAUKEE M18 FUEL ½" High Torque Impact Wrench w/ Friction Ring Kit has an amazing amount of torque. The tool has 1,100 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 1,500 ft-lbs of removal torque when the M18 XC5.0 battery is used. Even with all of this torque the tool is only a little over 7.5 inches, enabling you to get into tight spaces. There are LED lights that shine on the work area to make sure it's well illuminated. The drive has 4 modes to control the exact range which can be chosen from a single button on the tool. For example, you can select 50 ft-lbs of torques to prevent overtightening. This tool also uses full torques to loosen the fastner then slows down the speed after the fastener is loosened. The friction ring allows for fast socket changes. It comes with a battery, the charger, which charges M18 and M12 Batteries, and a great Millwaukee bag to keep everything in.  

If you are looking for a ½” ‘high torque’ impact wrench your search has ended. This Milwaukee offering will check your boxes and leave you beyond satisfied. My observations: • This is a heavy-duty (heavy usage) commercial quality impact wrench. After handling and using it, you will quickly appreciate the overall build, quality, and ergonomics. • This has a friction ring which I prefer for quick and easy socket application. • Up to 1500 ft-lbs of torque for nut removal and 1100 ft-lbs of torque for fastening. This is a huge number on both. This is high torque. • Feels great in your hand. It’s 7.5 lbs with 5ah battery. It’s a bit heavy but also to be expected with a quality impact wrench. I found it to be well-balanced when using. It has a nice grip with or without gloves and minimal vibration when using. This is very much appreciated. • The bolt removal mode (4th option on the drive control selection button) has an insane amount of power. After the nut breaks loose it will automatically slow down to ensure control. Mode 4 when fastening also provides low torque (Auto shutoff) to finish with hand tightening to provide over-tightening. • 4 mode drive control to get the right torque setting. • I love the Tri-LED light on the front. This ensures a perfectly visible work target. • It’s brushless as you would expect in the FUEL line. Longer life, more efficient, more powerful. • The bag is nice with 2 open pockets on each side and heavy-duty zipper and handles. Everything fits well if you plan to use the bag for transport or storage. • The included charger can handle both M18 and M12. I love the space savings on these. This kit also includes a XC5.0 Ah battery. • Overall, the impact wrench is on the quieter side for a heavy-duty 1/2” impact wrench. I really don’t think you can do any better than this high torque impact wrench. This is made to last regardless for home or 'on the job' daily use. I recommend and this exceeded my expectations.

It’s powerful for even the toughest jobs with up to 1500 ft./lbs of torque and it delivers this while still maintaining a compact size. This set includes the impact wrench, an XC5.0 battery, an M18/M12 battery charger, and a carrying case. The battery takes roughly an hour to fully charge and is compatible with the full line of Milwaukee M18 tools. The wrench measures 7.6” in length and weighs 7.5 lbs with the battery. Making it comfortable to hold but functional enough to remove or install bolts quickly and securely. There are four different drive modes which provide different levels of torque. The wrench also comes standard with an LED worklight to give more visibility for your toughest jobs. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality and power of this impact wrench and look forward to using it for years to come.

The rubber boot listed 49-16-2967 does not fit it’s for a different impact gun please correct this. And tell us which is the correct one thanks

Very good size with plenty of power and the tri-led lights illuminate very well. Would be better if the lights stayed on slightly longer cause I use it as a flashlight sometimes but it works perfectly for removing any bolts or fasteners on my truck where I need something more than my impact driver
