I have used strictly this soil in a raised bed. It does not make contact with the dirt in the ground nor have I contaminated it with soil from plants as I have only planted seeds and yet it has root knot nematodes. How did this soil get contaminated?
Asked by: MissBamboo
We are troubled to hear of the issues you encountered while using our Nature's Care Organic Garden Soil. Root-knot nematodes are plant-parasitic nematodes that exist in soil in areas with hot climates or short winters. We truely do not know when the soil could have been contaiminated with these parasites, but we would be interested in discussing this issue with you in more detail to try and find a solution for you. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please call us and refer to your review to see what can be done. Our phone number is 877-220-3089.

It was more like a bag of mulch than soil. The issue I now face is that my raised beds are growing mushrooms like mad. I had to remove most of what I added to blend with other soils and add more natural compost so that my vegetables would grow. I am fortunate I did not buy that many so I can consider this a ,essayed learn rather than a waste of money. The product is not that costly so I don't feel like I was taken advantage of, rather than just disappointed.

If you google "miraclegro fungus gnats" you will see that this is a major problem. The company is aware of the problem. They just tell you to put sand on your plant or repot it. I have an organic garden that I can't just repot. I will never use their products again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't drain Yuck! I purchased this soil for re-potting my houseplants. It looked like a great product: organic and water-regulating properties. Boy, was I wrong!!! I tried to use it to transplant my zygocactus, hoyas, and goldfish plant. The soil wouldn't drain! I put the newly potted plants outside on the deck in the fading sunlight, but after two hours they were still a boggy, soggy mess. I brought them all in and put them in their regular places, but I'm very worried. I think I may just buy some Kellog potting soil and re-pot them next weekend so I don't have to worry about them drowning. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVE IT I bought this soil when it was on sale a couple of weeks ago. I think it was two bags for $12.00 but I'm not sure. Anywho...best purchase EVER!!! I came back and loaded my car with them. Kinda bummed I didn't buy more cause now I'm out. My plants are thriving because of this soil. You know how you purchase some other brands and find tons of sticks? Not with this brand. I can't wait till they put it back on sale!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gnats I bought 2 bags repoted all my house plants and now I have fungus gnats everywhere. I contacted the company they wanted the upc from the bag...who saves that...then told me that gnats arent harmful snd I could buy their product to get rid of them. Or I can send original reciept to them for refund. Im not a hoarder and dont keep all these wasteful things. Now I have to spend more money and waste more time andv energy ibecause of their fungus invested dirt...better off with the $2 no name brand

I would not recommend using it as a soil replacement but if your in the situation I am, then it'll work just fine. I'd recommend mixing in some other planting material with it to add some variety to it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst soil I ever bought for raised vegetable bed It doesn't not retain water no matter what you do. I had to put mulch and water everyday to grow anything on this soil. Now I am slowly replacing it with other soils.
