Oven failure
Loved the look of my new stove and didn’t care that it had no bells and whistles but I expected it to work. I bought it in May of 2018 and by fall of 2019 while baking 100’s of wedding cookies for my sons wedding ( cousins and Aunts all at my home to help) the oven stopped working right. It wouldn’t hold the correct temp and my cookies were not baking correctly. My stove was still under warranty so NXR sent a repairman and he changed out the thermostat for us and my oven was back to working properly. It was not a simple fix...he practically had everything apart to do the job. Spring of 2021 and my oven starts doing the same thing. At times it would work and sometimes it just will not get up to temperature. We have had to pull things from the oven and go to the outdoor grill and have lost several good meals to the garbage bin due to never knowing when it would decide to work or not. I decided to call NXR even though it had now been 3 years and the warranty was up. They don’t want anything to do with me. There was obviously a design flaw that causes the thermostat to do this. Either the thermostat itself or something in the stove that burns them out. I feel ripped off and let down. The price for a new thermostat is 200$ plus labor and I feel it would just break again in another 1 and 1/2 years so we are forced to purchase another stove. It won’t be an NXR. Very disappointing!

Awesome purchase
I purchased this oven for a recent kitchen remodel and couldnt not be happier with it. Our previous home we used a thor range and my husband and i both like the NXR one better. Have been using it for 6 months now and this is a great inexpensive option for a professional range. Would purchase again!

I have NEVER been so unpleasantly surprised that I feel compelled to write a review. I can't say anything about the performance of the stove yet, as it was just "delivered" today, 3 hours before the time window given to me (and refused to come back later at the scheduled timeframe even though I was busy in a meeting). It was simply left in its original packaging on my driveway. I requested the delivery person to help me move it into the house, but was informed that is not part of the service.
I called Home Depot and learned that Duro is the vendor who sells the NXR brand to Home Depot, and Duro/NXR arranges for their own delivery service which does not offer/include in-home delivery and set up, and Home Depot will not help.
Conclusion: Do NOT purchase this brand from Home Depot unless you are Hulk + a gas stove installation expert, a contractor, or have folks who can help you move it in, set it up and/or dispose of the packaging and your old stove.

This heavy-duty commercial gas range with oven is the perfect piece of cooking equipment for commercially designed kitchens.
