I was excited to receive the two trees I ordered but quickly ran into issues. First, it takes an inordinate amount of time to find the female hole on the bottom half of the tree to insert the top. Then, the holes were too tight and required modification with a large flat-head screwdriver. Second, the pine cones fall off easily. Third, the cord is way too short. Typically people purchase these trees in pairs. Unless they are placed one foot apart, the cords will not be long enough to connect to each other. No biggie, right? Just use an extension cord to connect the trees. Wrong. To connect the light strings to an extension cord, the cord will have to not be polarized. Meaning, any modern cord with one prong wider than the other won’t fit. In this day and age the female sockets should be made to accommodate a polarized cord. Instead, I had to grind down the wide prong on several extension cords as the same problem exists with the lighted garlands. They do eventually look good, however, but it took too much effort for the money.
