This one costs less and the threaded connection makes it simpler to install.
Just get it done
No, but no reason it wouldn't work. Water drains out of an RV sink the same way it drains out of any other.
Vertical
I doubt that it does that. You want to vent sewer gas to the outside. Hopefully the existing vents are installed correctly. That's why its called a Cheater Vent.
Only if you have access to change it. They dont last forever, usually 2 years. Also if it is in a wall it still needs plenty of air.
I would say until the threads start to cease and maybe a 1/4 turn more. Adding Teflon tape could improve the seal and allow easier replacement at a later date
when you insert tubing into a connector it will snap into place, to release the tubing you must compress the plastic locking ring to let the tubing be removed.
I don't believe this is designed for RVs but your comment implies that your drain is already vented and driving down the road causes positive pressure to overcome this vent.
There threaded so just turn it counterclockwise then clockwise on with the new one
