This watering wand has a removal showerhead that fits my needs BUT. Twice it was the only model that was carried by the Home Depot. The shut off valve pops off this tool within days! The use of an O-ring connection is cheap and flimsy. The water pressure at my house is high but within standard limits. I selected this tool because of well formed threads on the shut of value. The connection to the wand at 90 PSI fails!!!!!!! My other tools have not failed at 90 PSI. I have seen crimped fittings on garden tool for decades. Engineering should make things better not into junk.

Not copper but aluminum with a metallic coating. Peeling coating and nasty white corrosion after using it a while & the nozzle clogs with the corrosion making it unusable. If it was copper it would have lasted a lifetime, SHAME!

Superb!
Not only does this wand work really well, it looks fantastic! The copper on this watering wand is really brilliant. You see, watering wands tend to live in visible places because they are used for the daily task of watering your hanging plants and other things that are out of reach. The watering wand tends to just stay out, so you definitely want something that actually looks good. This wand does! But it also works really, really well. You can actually turn on the water at the faucet and then turn it back off at the wand, so you can leave it running assuming you hose doesn't leak anywhere. The reach is great too, so you can easily water those hanging baskets. It's also a very gently stream, so there is no need to worry about high pressure water damaging you delicate plants. What a great product!

Wife Loves It!!
I handed this off to my wife and she really loves it! It has a very solid construction, and she mentioned she thought it would be around for the next twenty years at least. It's perfect for watering the usual plants, so I can't say much about that. Overall, this is a nice tool that should last for a long time. I liked that it was metal construction and I can't see that it will have any failures in the future.

High end
34 in. Shower Wand with Shut-Off Copper is a very high end item. It looks great is very well made and stylish at same time. I got it for my brother who is handicapped and cant squeeze a nozzle. He can easily reach his flowers and veggies to water them now. The shutoff at the bottom of handle makes it easy for him to control the flow. When I first looked at this I thought it was for inside the house it is so well made and stylish. No rust with this copper wand. The fine spray will not crush your flowers down.

Great reach for water
i really like this wand. I have a really short hose that wont reach hardly anything but this wand give me an extra 2' to shower my garden and plants with water. not too much water and a constant flow. covers a large area. seems like a 1 1/2 circum. the turn on valve is kinda small and when my hands get wet it can get hard to grip and turn but working with gloves will fix that. love love love the color. not sure how long it will last though only thing it is missing is a small hook to hang this tool on my wall in the storage room. for now I lay it on the ground or up against the wall.

This looks WAY better in real life!
The website picture makes the finish look bad. When, in fact, it's VERY nice. I would describe it as an aged brushed copper finish, almost developed into a natural patina, or like some kind of high quality wheels. To me it's worth buying just for the nice finish alone. There are many to choose from but I like the look of this one. The wand DOES have its own shut-off valve, so you don't have to go running between the faucet and wand, timing your every move. Now, I've only had this for a couple of weeks and it has been used every day. It works well, and the foam grip it comfortable and sticks onto the wand nicely. However, the main connection between the hose and wand is starting to develop a leak, and yes, the connections are tight and clean. So, it may be worth it to pick up a set of garden hose seals/gaskets/o-rings (which WILL come in use sooner or later anyways for other nozzles). With this one negative thing being said, this wand is a great value and has very high pressure. There are no restrictions in it and it can dump out a lot of water in no time. The pic where the water is spraying . . . I have my faucet fully bottomed out/open and the shut off only half-way open. If you put this thing on full blast, you can water your lawn very quickly; it's that powerful. The barcode sticker on it looks dumb and cheap however, and should be moved to a more convenient place, or perhaps just have it painted on in flat black instead. Either way, it ruins the look, and if you remove it, you'll get a sticky area. You can use mineral spirits to remove sticky residue like that though.

Excellent value and quality
I've been reluctant to purchase a watering wand in the past due to cost and negative reviews on wands that leak and break easily. This wand is definitely not a clinker! The wand is constructed of a medium weight (gauge) metal that will not bend easily. The shower watering device is metal of heavy gauge with metal female threads that attaches to the wand which has heavy duty male threads. The attached valve functions easily with no binding or leaks. The shower head screws on and off easily. The threads are the same as found on water hose and faucets. The shower holes are very small that results in a very gentle but high flow spray (see picture). To maintain a gentle and not harsh spray, I would suggest attaching a pressure regulator just ahead of the wand's water valve. I also take off the shower head and screw on a bubbler sprinkler to water tomato, pepper and other garden plants that have "water wells" made around the root zones to pool water. By using this wand, I never have to bend over but can remain standing. Since I use unfiltered gravity flow spring water for irrigation that has 22 psi of water pressure, I did install a hose washer with screen into the shower head inlet to prevent clogging of the shower head holes. I also used the wand with the shower head removed in the greenhouse to fill bottom feeder trays with water. This product would be an excellent investment for all gardeners.
