Soft, low pile runner. Blue is not a true Navy Blue. It's a nice shade of dark blue but less so than the one pictured. Bought it for our Bichon so we can roll her ball down the hall and she runs to fetch. She was sliding a bit too much so we decided to buy this for her safety. She loves it!

This is so thin and with it’s backing, slides on wood or cord floors. I’m going to have to put a pad under it in our mud room….might have liked something with more grip!

Hi Jane, our rubber backing reduces slippage significantly on most floors. However for wood, the lamination type may change the scenario. A rug pad or double sided tape should do the trick.
