Purchased this screen as we were replacing some of our well used sun screens. Product was an excellent replacement and looked fantastic both inside and out. Highly recommend.

Excellent product and results
I have a bathroom window that faces west and in the summer it gets HOT. A few years ago I made a solar screen using wood framing that I cut to size, then attached this screen to the back. What a difference! And at a fraction of the cost having it professionally made. I put it up in the summer and take down in the fall. Getting ready to make another one for a bedroom window after my neighbor cut down a tree that was shading it.

I placed them on the outside of my three 6 1/2 ft windows, as well as on top of my kitchen & bath...
I placed them on the outside of my three 6 1/2 ft windows, as well as on top of my kitchen & bathroom skylights, and it has made a HUGE difference! It used to be a battle to keep the temperature in those rooms comfortable, but these solar screens keep out the majority of our AZ summer heat. We can even have the blinds open and enjoy the view - which we used to not be able to do in the summers. AWESOME product!
I used 3M Scotch clear fasteners, so that I can easily remove the screens in the winter months.

After installation this new screen material definitely cut down on both the intensity and brightn...
After installation this new screen material definitely cut down on both the intensity and brightness of the Sun compared to the OEM screen from Milgard which it replaced. I used this on a sliding door screen and it's at least 50% less Bright Now in the room which was most welcome. Be aware that this new material is at least twice as thick and heavy as any standard screen it will be replacing. It likely took me twice as long to install this as it was very difficult inserting the spline into the channel due to its increased thickness and decreased flexibility. Be sure to use a new Spline of the correct diameter matching your screens channel.

Does exactly as stated. Reduced sun's heat and glare and I specifically wanted just that in a room I put these screen in. It also makes sure that no tiny gnats gets through from the back yard during spring and summer time. I definitely recommend this to anyone who want's it for those reasons.
