Answer This Question
A:Â This material is very brittle so be careful. Do not use any tools with a lot of motion because will call cracking or break the panel. Tape along the edge which will prevent cracking, and clamp the piece down securely. Use a straight edge and cut along the tape to the desired size. It should not be very difficult to cut as this panel is very thin. Then remove the tape.

A:Â Dear Valued Home Depot Customer,
We reached out to MFG for more information and below is their response.
“ Our lighting panels are made to fit a standard 2’x4’ drop ceiling.
If you are trying to install a replacement lighting panel into a lighting troffer, the panel may need to be cut to size to fit the specific model.

Flimsy and breaks easily
The store receives their stock all cracked and broken. The employees has to search several stores to find one that wasnt completely broken, although it was still cracked badly. Horrible quality. Do not purchase this.

Don't Breathe On Them
Caution: These panels will crack and break if you breathe on them. I bought a few panels at the store. All of the panels on the shelf were broken. It looked like the case had been dropped. I picked a few of the least damaged but additional cracks and large chips continued to appear no matter how careful I was.

measures wrong
This panel does not Measure as it says it does. I needed right at 24"x48" and this measured 22"x46". 2 inches on both sides is a big diffetence when it says it measures different. Back to the store it goes. Made cheap as well..very fragile.

You get what you pay for
Watch Out!!! These are very flimsy and cheap. They easily crack and break. You don't even need a utility knife to cut them because a simple break will do. I really wish i had spent the extra few dollars for much better quality, afterall you do get what you pay for.

Glue removal very difficult
The stickers on these panels are extremely difficult to remove. We tried OOPS, alchohol didn't do much, we soaked with a soapy wet washrag and finally the last step we used WD-40 but had to work to get the oily film off. These guys should use a more releasable glue for their stickers. What a pain!!!!! They are very pretty though when you are done messing with them. A 5 minute job turned into a 30 minute job!!!

Smooth
I bought this product thinking it may be a mistake, but for the price I took a chance. I needed a 2 ft. x 2 ft. peace & had to cut it myself from a 2 ft. x 4 ft., it was smooth and easy without any thought: it worked or it did not. Smooth and flexible, SMOOTH
