        As Advertised
This product worked perfectly as advertised. The instructional video was spot on... It really enhanced the look of our finished basement as the lally column's paint had chipped and rusted. I did make one modification on installation. I chose to wrap the pole wrap with electrical tape instead of painter's tape. The electrical tape provided more clamping power as it stretches when pulled.

Nice way to finish basement pole
This pole looks nice when finished. It was difficult to bend the pole wrap in between each panel, which was required to get the wrap to be flexible. The backing is like cardboard and could be ripped if not careful. Otherwise, installation was easy. Just used contractor adhesive to stick to the pole and it is very solid in place. I painted the pole wrap white to match our decor. I sanded in between coats of paint to smooth it out.

Just what you are looking for
Just installed so can't speak to the durability but was quite easy to install. However, is easier w/ 2or 3 people while you bind it to the pole and tape it to secure it. Once dried it sets very nicely.
