HOW LONG IS THE HANDLE?

AnswersDear LONY, This leaf rake is meant to be used with a standard pool pole. There is a 7 1/2 inch attachment handle at the back of the net (leaf rake) with two spring loaded plastic pawls approximately 4 inches from the end meant to allow attachment of this rake to a standard aluminum pool pole. These poles are sold separately and are usually adjustable in length. I hope this helps with your decision. Sincerely, hamrdul

AnswersThis product is the same as advertised. In fact I ordered one of these a couple years ago and it's the same product as back then. One difference: the leaf bag is a little larger. That's good!

Big, tough and efficient!

This pool net is definitely professional quality. The netting is heavy and strong and promises to last for years. The frame and pole attachment are made from sturdy aluminum tubing with a protective plastic cover. The net opening is approximately 10 by 19 inches and has a fin attached to the front which helps guide items to be picked up into the net. When filled, a simple flip over the compost pile allows emptying.

I liked that with heavy duty deep mesh net. Also, it came with white scraper bar at the front top of the net. It had push buttons for my pool pole extending. Easy to collect leaves, insects from the top to the bottom of my swimming pool. Nice to have extra white scraper bar to scrape the bottom to loose to net it out. i used it twice for a week. So far I like it.
Solid, doesn't bend and catches a lot of leaves

Overall this performs great compared to the one I used to use. The old one is going in the trash.
This is really nice and sturdy, it does not bend or flex even when there is a good amount of leaves in it. The mesh bag is a nice balance of small enough hole to get a lot of broke up leaves and they are also big enough that it does not clog even when there are good amount of leaves in it.
The downside is that with a good amount of leaves in (by good amount I would say a little less than a 1/4 full) it does get heavy when lifting it out of the pool. Also I think because it is new and the bag is stiff, you cannot just turn it over and shake the bag out. You need to use your hands to get the bag not flop over and mess with it to empty it.
There was one other issue I saw with it. There is a small tab on each end of the white edge strip. It sick out enough that you could scrap a vinyl liner. It't close most of the time but there is a chance. On mine I took a fine and sandpaper to it to knock off all the shape edges, just to play it safe.
Even with the couple of issues, I still think it is hands down better than my other leaf catcher.

I had an older version of this net that lasted over 10 years. This net lasted less than a month before it started to rip. Then to top it off, the plastic frame separated from the metal frame.

Leaf net is too long making it hard to shake...

Leaf net is too long making it hard to shake out debris. The white plastic that acts as a scooper flies off when shaking out debris. We have ordered a new net and disposing of this one.

No pole was included or recommended for this product by the store description. Standard pole I have does not fit it. Now I have to spend more money to get a pole so I can properly clean the leaves and pine needles out of my pool. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Hello, All of our pool tools fit onto a standard size telescopic pool pole (sold separately). Generally it is easiest to switch from skimmer, to rake, to brush, etc. by using the little white v-clip adapter so each easily snaps on and off the same pole.
