Locking tab locks to the vac so it won't pull loose when in use.
FITS ALL RIDGID WET/DRY VACUUMS
All RIDGID hoses will fit on any RIDGID wet/dry vacuum. Optimal vacuums are 9 gallons and smaller.
TUG-A-LONG LOCKING TAB
Locking tab will lock onto the inlet allowing the vac to follow you when using.
EXTENDED REACH
Hose is 14 ft. long allowing for double the reach of a standard RIDGID wet/dry vac hose.
FITS 1-7/8 IN. ACCESSORIES
Fits accessories that are designated as 1-7/8 in. accessories.
OPTIMAL WITH SMALLER VACUUMS
1-7/8 in. hose diameter is optimal size for vacuums 9 gallons and under. The hose opening is larger than a quarter and smaller than a golf ball.

this was the last extension i needed
i can now vacuum the whole basement ,, as you see with my photo .. i now gotta about 40' to reach all corners ,, lots of spider webs, dead bugs, and loose dirt always in the basement .. they come in all and every sumer

Thinner, Cheaper Plastic than Original Hose!
Despite having the same part # and outside diameter as the original hose (which lasted for many years), the end where the extension wand attaches is now *much* thinner plastic than the original hose, so there is no friction fit -- the extension wand just slid all the way into the hose! Way to cut costs, Ridgid!
