The top shelf is just under an inch deeper than all of the lower shelves
48” is the length of the vertical mounting rails- the slotted rails that mount on the wall. 96” is the overall (maximum width) using all the mounting rails. Don’t know what the 2” dimension is. The shelves are 12” deep. The mounting rails can be mounted together for a vertical element that is greater than 48”.
No stronger
If I would have to guess, maybe the white paint takes more time & cost. But the white seems to be more popular and tends to be sold out before the titanium if any are sold out. So maybe it's a combo of both those things?
It comes with 2 48" and 2 22" telescoping rods.
Yes. I love Rubbermaid Closet System.
The rods are not sold by themselves.
This is the most versatile of the Rubbermaid shelving units. There are many other configurations , several are shown on the box You can have the shelves cut to your specifications at your local Home Depot usually free of charge
I had the same problem with my closet. This system can only go to its max stated dimension. You could add on a smaller set or add hooks, and other features at the end of it like i did.
Not sure, but it was around 20 lbs i think.
