The Sanicom 1 is a commercial drain pump that was designed to sustain the toughest applications meant for gray water pumps. The Sanicom 1 handles up to 194°F water, making it perfect for commercial kitchen applications where dishwashers must operate at exceptionally high temperatures to meet health and sanitation standards. In addition, the unit is specially designed to withstand liquids with highly acidic properties, such as wastewater from processing applications. Can this be used in a yard as a yard drainage pump?
No. this pump is not designed or intended for outdoor use.
How many decibels when operating?
Saniflo does not publish a decibel rating on this product. I can tell you from personal experience that I would not consider them to be that noisy and to the extent there is sound most is that of water moving through the pipes and toilet, not the sound of the pump. There are quite of few videos on you tube of these units in operation that may be of assistance to you.
Can I have a garbage disposal in my sink with this system?
No, it is not recommended to have a garbage disposal in your sink with this system.
No I would not recommend this pump for that type of application. This pump was designed for commercial applications in that it can handle the higher waste water temperatures from commercial dishwashers. Waste from sink that is equipped with a garbage disposal will have a high content of solid and semisolid will require an effluent, sewage or grinder pump.

As with anything plumbing the answer to your question is determined by both the code in your state and how it is interpreted by the inspector. However this product was designed and built specifically for the commercial kitchen market. As you will notice if you open up the spec sheets it will handle waste water upt to 194 F, Temperatures this high are common in commercial kitchens.
