Product Overview

As part of the Wiser home management system, the Large Load Controller and Disconnect allows energy management, especially during peak demand times, without sacrificing convenience or comfort. The Wiser Large Load Controller can be connected to utility demand response programs where offered and a smart meter is installed. The Wiser Large Load Controller and Disconnect helps reduce energy costs using smart-grid connections and active energy management. The Wiser Large Load Controller and Disconnect can be controlled remotely through ZigBee wireless technology or locally by the end user. It can be used in conjunction with a utility demand response program and/or with the Wiser home management system. The Large Load Controller requires the addition of one QO ILC Powerlink circuit breaker for use as the disconnect. The Load Controller and Disconnect can be upgraded to provide energy monitoring with the addition of either the Large Load Control Single or Dual CT Kit.
  • Required part: QOILC Power Link Circuit Breaker, 1-pole or 2-pole, 60A max, based on application
  • Optional part: large load control single CT or dual CT kit based on application
  • Can be connected to a utility company’s demand response program and helps prevent grid overloads and reduce peak electricity usage and costs
  • Allows homeowners to manage and control energy usage and opt-out of energy events, temporarily or permanently
  • Reports energy consumption to the Wiser home management system when paired with a Wiser load control single CT Kit (EER260LLCCT1) or the large load control dual CT Kit (EER260LLCT2)
  • Switches on or off remotely through ZigBee wireless technology
  • Serves as a disconnect switch providing both short circuit and over current protection
  • Acts as a repeater in ZigBee networks and may be used to increase range
  • Easy installation and commissioning
  • Remote control of connected load energy measurement
  • Demand response and load control, remote on/off, duty cycle, simple metering
  • Works with the remote interface features of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) metering systems
  • Contains all of the necessary logic for control and measurement and for Radio Frequency (RF) communication
  • Installs in any location where a branch circuit breaker or disconnect is normally used
  • NEMA 3R housing, non metallic enclosure, surface mounting
  • ZigBee (2.4 GHz) 100 mW output power
  • Houses either a one or two pole, 15 to 60 amp, remotely operated QO ILC PowerLink circuit breakers (sold separately)
  • Application for either 120 VAC or 120/240 VAC systems

Questions & Answers

Does this system link/work with others like wink

Is this an independent WiFi/smart system or will it function with other technologies that are smart home or commercial application like wink etc...
Asked by: branch
Thank you for your inquiry. Wiser Home Management is a closed system. The Wiser Devices only function with each other. They do not work with other ZigBee automation systems such as Wink or Smart Things. In order to control the Large Load Controller (EER260LLCR), one must create a wireless connection to a Wiser Coordinator (EER21200) and have an account on www.wiserenergy.com
