A: No, Q3030 cannot be used for a 240V load. It can feed 2 separate 120V circuits only. If your load center accepts Type QT breakers (please verify from label) consider Q21530CT or Q22030CT. The inner 2 poles consist of a common trip breaker for 240V loads. The outer poles are independent 120V single pole breakers.

A: No handle tie is offered to tie together the 2 poles of Q3030. Note both poles pull from the same 120V leg so if servicing a 240V load consider instead Q23030CT (2 spaces required) with inner poles as a 2 pole common trip breaker. If two 2 poles are preferred consider Q23030CT2. Refer to catalog link page 1-37 for all Type QT offerings. If for separate 120V circuits requiring simultaneous disconnect only (no common trip) consider two Q3030 installed side by side with ECQTH2 handle tie to connect a pole from each breaker. https://digitalcontentcenter.compas.siemens-info.com/documents/20181/375293/SF-17-Sect-01-ALL-web.pdf

Doesn't fit Square D homeline panel

Was told these fit Square D homeline panel. And they do not. It seems the new version on these breakers have a stopper in the slot. Making them stop short of fitting properly. They are supposed to be able to fit. Evidently, they don't anymore.
