Description states that it is for water use unlike the BK answer and if you look at the description for the 1” galvanized x 60” that meets the same A53 standard, clearly says can be used for gas line.

                  Well I needed this pipe to replace a closet pole as the wooden pole bent way too much, but it only needed to be 64 inches. I found a piece on the flooe which was 67 inches.
