The TOTO Washlet S350e round bidet seat delivers ecology-minded luxury in a slim design. The Washlet features TOTO's technologically advanced ewater+ system which uses electrolyzed water generated by a technologically advanced process, transforming the water into a safe and powerful compound. By misting the bowl after every use, the ewater+ technology helps to keep your toilet bowl clean and hygienic without any extra harsh chemicals. The Premist function sprays the bowl with water before each use, preventing waste buildup and keeping the toilet bowl clean. The TOTO Washlet S350e is fully automated, including an illuminated remote control with 5 spray settings, auto open and close lid, heated seat, and instantaneous water heating. Cleansing with soothing warm water is more comfortable than traditional toilet paper that can sometimes be rough. Using a Washlet reduces the amount of toilet paper needed. Not only are you saving the trees that make toilet paper, you're also saving the water used during manufacture. One roll of toilet paper requires four gallons of water to make.       A:  Hello, Many toilets will work with TOTO WASHLETS and you don't need a special toilet specific to TOTO. There are a few exceptions, however. You will need to make sure that your toilet is compatible with the WASHLET in terms of dimensions. To be sure please take a look at the fit chart provided in the images section. The WASHLET will attach to your toilet with a mounting bracket that is installed just like a regular seat. Check to make sure there is ample space under the seat mount area and that there is nothing to interfere with the hardware (such as proprietary features). There is also an adapter tee that connects to the fill valve of your tank. As long as you have access to the fill valve, you'll be able to connect the tee. Please take a look at the instructions diagram in the images section. You can also get a hose extension (THU9090R or 9AU321-A) that will help with the connection if your toilet has reduced space.               The S350e for round toilet bowls suffers from some convenience-feature flaws, and for the cost and the brand you’d expect a well-thought out, flawless experience. Keep in mind that from what I understand, this is the BEST money can buy in the round toilet bowl landscape. - I was expecting to not like the “traditional” shaped cover but it actually looks rather nice. - Installation was super simple though the instructions added to the confusion instead of alleviating them. - Basic use is as expected, it’s a bidet. - Heated seats can get very warm which is nice. Many temperature options for operation. - Seat space is extremely limited, to the point where taller or larger people may not fit properly. You may be better off buying a cheap elongated toilet for your expensive bidet. - Bowl light is most disappointing feature - it does not stay on for more than 2 seconds on approach and there’s no option to turn it on manually. Why even have one? - Lifting the cover and seat via button is extremely pleasant, I didn’t expect how convenient this would be. - Dryer could be more effective but she tries. - Seems very sturdy and will last a long time if following the many cleaning warnings in the manual. All in all, a decent product but for a premium price but you may want to install a non-round toilet if possible.

                  Had a little trouble with water connnections. Had a 35 year old water supply hose in old style corrugated metal, and could not get the connection to the adapter supplied with the Washlet to fit in a leak tight seal. Had to call a plumber who installed a complete new water supply hose with replacement angle stop valve and then it all worked very nicely. After all connected and power connected the Washlet works very nicely. My wife and her friends love it.
