My previous hose was a very high commercial quality, so much so that my wife couldn't roll it up. This product is diff from any I've seen as it is light but doesn't kink easily. Btw-right before buying this, I bought the same brand hose as my previous and they made it lighter but it did kink more . . if that helps. For burst, look at the specs.

great hose but leaks
Hose began to leak after a few months of use in 2020. Leaks from the male and crimped connection. Seems to be a common issue among other users.

I was beginning to think it was impossible to make a hose in this length and diameter that wouldn't kink. Kinks are annoying and over time they damage the hose with creasing which weakens the hose integrity. Eventually a leak will develop at these crease points. Each time I'm done using a hose, I wind it into a 3-foot diameter circle on the open lawn. Well, I've used this hose about 5 times a week for the past 3 weeks, extending its entire length each time and NOT ONCE has it kinked!! Someday it may kink and that would be OK; after all, it’s kink-resistant, not kink-proof. But it hasn't happened yet. Great design and performance! I have another hose same diameter and length designed for construction sites (industrial rubber) and that one is bulky, heavy and kinks horribly. I think that one is designed to lay out extended when not in use. But I like to wind the hose into a 3-foot wide circle when I'm done using it each time. This one feature, the ability to wind and unwind without kinking, is the most important requirement for me. Not only is it more attractive, but you don't risk tripping across an extended hose on the lawn. What I like about this hose: - Highly kink resistance (really!!) - Light weight - Flexible - Metal couplings & spring - Easy to handle - Fluorescent orange color adds a visual pop to the garden What I dislike: - Not one thing!!

It has worked well for the month we have had it. The hose is quite soft, but seems to work well. The one did not want to thread on tightly so I had to add another rubber washer to keep it from leaking.

Eh, broke upon first use, lousy connection tolerance
Broke the first time we tried to use it. To be fair, the hose functions UNTIL you try to shut the water off at the sprayer/handle end. At that point, it builds up pressure in the hose and due to a poor tolerance fitting or misassembly practice the explodes off the main hose connection fitting. See pictures for details. Will be returning.

Really Great
I have had my existing 3/4" rubber hose for over 30 years. It was heavy, stiff, and tended to kink some when stretched out. I looked at a number of hoses, and decided that the less expensive ones were probably somewhat inferior. "You get what you pay for". I decided to spring the $60 for this hose, hoping that I'd get what I paid for. I DID! I coil the hose on the ground, hooked up to the faucet. Then, slowly stretch it out to the length I want (usually almost full 75' length). My previous hose would kink up some when pulled out and I had to twist it to get it straight. Not so with this one - It may loop some when pulled out, but hasn't kinked on me. Then when done, I coil it up again. See from the photos as I stretched it about 70 feet and then coiled it up again. When the hose at the back of the house gets a little worse, I'll probably replace it with another one of these.

Great hose but cheap O-ring/gasket
I bought this hose to give as much flow to my pressure washer as possible. The interior is clearly larger to the eye than a normal 5/8 inch hose. Other reviewer stated the o-ring/gasket that comes in the female end was junk. I did notice it appeared to be plasticky instead of rubber. Didn't think much of it until I hooked it up to my spigot and no matter how much I tightened it would leak like crazy. Removed hose and the ring fell apart (see attached pic) Luckily a 10 pack is like 3 bucks and easily replaceable. No more leaks but you'd think for a $60 hose you wouldn't have to replace parts as soon as you get it. Either way dont let that very minor complaint deter you from this hose. Hose performs amazing. Everyting else seems high quality. Doesnt kink easily. Connector ends seem high quality. Lighter than comparable length high grade hoses.

Best hose available at HD
I’ve gone through 5 other hoses that all Burst within a week, going on almost a year now with this one. If your water pressure is very high like mine don’t waste your time with the other hoses.

Teknor Apex High Performance Hose
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a backyard that extends over 50’ and this hose covers 75” which was adequate to cover my watering requirements. I was able to stretch the entire 75’ length without any kinks or entanglements. In addition, the hose was on the lightweight side making it easy to carry with some effort to roll-up. The hose is very sturdy and came with good connectors and rubber washer. No leaks were evident in the 25 plus days I have been using this hose. The major difference with this type of hose is the reduced effort to move around and not have to constantly mitigate the kinks and entanglements reducing the need to wind and unwind. I like my hose to accommodate a very strong stream of water and the Teknor Apex achieved this pressure because its base materials prevent it from becoming kinked even after inadvertently stepping on the active hose. Living in the Southern California area, the weather at times are hot yet it has had no impact on the performance of the hose. The hose may at times be a little difficult to coil after use. This would be the drawback when trying to make a lightweight material that can avoid kinks yet tends to be a little difficult when trying to recoil after use. I also highly recommend you shutoff the valve fixture when you complete the watering requirements. If you let it stay connected “on”, you will see the hose expand about 10 percent to accommodate your property’s water pressure. I would expect the hose would sustain some degradation if it was constantly under water pressure 24/7. If you are seeking a competent, reliable, lightweight hose that avoids kinks and entanglements, this hose scores a solid “4” Star Performance.

Does not tangle up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the easiest and widest water hose I have ever used. It is easy to roll up and does not fold over or get pinched, so the water flows freely with no interruption. Hooking up to the spigot was easy due to the extra gripping area and the spiraled metal.

Durable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With just moving into our new home, we needed a hose for our back yard. One that could reach across the yard to water our tree, as well as one that was durable enough so our dog wouldn't tear it up. I was overly impressed with the durability, length, and much more. This hose was perfect for new home owners. This hose was built to last, thick durable material that can last for years.
