Basic Hanger Plate / Utilitarian piece of hardware Designed to accept 3/8" threaded rod. Mounted with two flat head screws. Cast iron. Galvanized.. Must select appropriate screw for material plate is attached to and weight to be supported. Made in China Nothing special or unique about this basic piece of hardware. Adequate quality. Seems light for cast iron. These plates provide a way to mount or hang devices / items from wood surfaces. I intend to use this to fabricate a hanger for a pendant light fixture from a vaulted ceiling beam.

    This would be a good choice but the holes are...
    This would be a good choice but the holes are way huge. These aren’t meant to hang a ton of weight. They are a 3/8” light duty hanger and the hole has plenty of play around a 1/4” screw. No idea why the bevel the hole, now you need to use a flat head style screw. A standard drill hole is all you need and you could use a hex drive screw and be done with it.
