This Range is Pre-Converted to Propane. Thor Kitchen presents this hot new Dual Fuel range to help you create meals like a professional chef. For those with discriminating tastes, this 5.2 cu. ft. oven has the space to get it all done and the power to get it done fast. The professional style Dual Fuel range features 6 high powered gas burners which allow you to cook from a high heat for boiling, frying or searing to a low simmer for the most delicate sauces. The removable back-splash gives it the versatility to be used as a freestanding or slide-in range. With its classic stainless steel body and modern black finishes this appliance is designed to perform as well as it looks.
  • Range has been pre-converted to propane and ready to use with propane
  • Purchase and installation of separate propane conversion kit is not required
  • 2 x 15,000 BTU sealed dual burners with a 650 BTU simmer function prevents delicate sauces from burning
  • 3 x sealed single burner x 12,000 BTU for medium heat
  • 1 x 18,000 BTU sealed single burner emits high heat for faster boiling and larger cookware
  • Electric broiler (top) heating element: 1 x 3500-Watt to sear your steaks, seal in the juices and give your chicken a crispy skin: 1 x 16,500 BTU
  • Dual oven electric heating element system: 1 x 850-Watt (top) and 3000-Watt (base), utilizes the heating elements from the top and bottom of the oven to create even heating
  • 7 x high quality metallic control knobs

Q:It appears that there is no temperature readout for the oven? And from one of the other reviews, it also appears there is no indication when preheat temperature is achieved. Is that correct? We would need to hang an oven thermometer inside to know temp?

    Beautiful Range!
    Purchased this range and had it converted to LP (simple process) at the dealer. The quality of the 3606 is outstanding. We love its looks, high BTU burners, and electric convection oven. We had previously purchased a range from a competing brand, and although a bit less expensive , it was flimsy in construction (light weight/thin stainless construction). The 3606 has the look and feel of a professional unit several times it’s price! We love it!

      Cooking like a Goddess !
      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much research we decided to replace our 20 yr old D**** range with this model. I second guessed our decision up until using this range. The knobs are substantial and easily control the burner temperature. Preheat and oven temperature are well regulated. The racks don't tilt when removing pans from the oven. The interior of the oven and lights are a beautiful blue and add to the stylish look of the range. Best of all, my family is happy that I no longer bake bricks!!! I'm happy with my decision to buy a Thor range and glad to be back to cooking with joy.

        We purchased our Range 1 year and 4 months ago. It is a nice finishing piece to our new kitchen. We are a little disappointed in the quality of finish on the Hi-Low burners.. but the rest look great.

          Perfect!
          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what I hoped it would be. We recently moved to a new home and needed to update the range. As the owner of a high end kitchen design business I had become accustomed to our Dacor 48” dual fuel range. The new kitchen could only fit a 36” range and was equipped with an all electric one. After researching available ranges in consultation with my appliance supplier I settled on the Thor and could not be more pleased. It is a beauty to look at and wonderful to use. The simmer burners work great. The range top is easy to clean as is the removable cover over the oven burner. Perhaps the best thing is the price point. You get comparable performance for units costing three times as much. Well done Thor engineers and designers!

            BEAUTIFUL ADDITION
            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had our new THOR 36" Dual Fuel range about a week, and we are thrilled with its beauty, functionality, and engineering.. It is easy to use, easy to set an almost perfect temperature, and easy to clean up when finished. The simmer feature on two burners is a great feature. Looking forward to many years of meal preparation with this range.

                A good rack is important. Easy glide racks for all
                Only one of the 2 racks has the easy glides. Non glide rack is very difficult to slide out. A lot of fuzz and debris trapped between the oven door glass. Warning label adhesive on knobs is very difficult to remove. General construction of unit is good. We can only guess on performance as we just installed it. However, small details matter.
