TopTile Polyester ceiling tiles are warm, durable tile that can be installed as a square-edge lay-in ceiling tile or as a gridless, stuck on ceiling or wall tile. They maintain a class "A" Fire Rating (ASTM E84) with Greenguard validated mold and microbial growth resistance (ASTM D6329). Tiles are backed by a 15-year limited warranty.

    A:  Thank you for your interest in our TopTile products! If you are talking about isolating sound, polyester will help on voice type sound, not impact sound. There are clips available to help with impact sound called Resilmount A237R Furring Channels: https://www.resilmount.com/products/a237r-metal-furring-channel-resilient-sound-isolation-clip/

      A:  Insulation by nature is light. If it’s the type that comes in rolls, the insulation will be supported by the ceiling grid and not just the tiles. If installing hard insulation it should be cut to the tile size so they are also supported by the ceiling grid. Polyester Tiles glued to ceilings or walls falling off depends on the adhesive and the substrate. If applied with quality adhesive and the substrate is smooth, dry and free of any dust or foreign matter. The tiles should stay in place for decades. Ceiling installations are subject to the forces of gravity and therefore wall installations should last longer than ceilings.

I'm skeptical of the NRC (Noise Reduction...) rating compared to fiberglass tiles though, especially since the thickness is approximately half of fiberglass tiles.
