So much better than the plastic barrier
This is so much easier to use than the plastic. It doesn't tear as easily. You can utilize a staple gun to attach to fencing or boards to hold it in place.

200ft fabric far thinner than 100ft fabric
I had to buy a second roll to finish my job, and realized the 100 ft roll I bought was much thicker fabric than the 200 ft roll. These were both labeled as Weed Control Fabric, Medium-Duty, and you can see through the material that came from the 200 ft roll.

              Good coverage and thickness
Really like the length and width. This covers a large area at 400 sg ft. It has good thickness and i expect it will serve its purpose. I placed it under a deck were redoing. I did need to cut it several times. I used a utility knife, but scissors would be better.

              Worse than worthless!
This product in no way deserves to be labeled “weed control” fabric. After hours and hours of weeding a newly rehabilitated bed I purchased and carefully installed this weed barrier, topped with 2-3” of mulch. “Ahh” I thought - job well done! “Not so!” said Vigoro. Within 2 weeks I have weeds popping up all over; tender shoots growing right through the “weed control fabric”. [See photo] I just wasted money AND a lot of time and effort using Vigoro’s sorry product. Do not buy this lousy stuff!

                don't buy it.
if you're looking for a weed barrier, don't buy this junk. September 21 I made this purchase and waited to review it because it always looks great in the beginning. so now several months later I'm reviewing. this isn't the first time my wife and I have been picking weeds and crap from our rock I used 3 layers of this barrier staggering my overlaps. the weed barrier is a joke. if you like throwing money away buy something useful. as far as I go I might as well hire a gardener.

                  Weeds grow right through it.
Laid this down in early august 2022. It's been a month and weeds grow through the fabric despite layers of gravel, 90lb pavers and mulch. This was a month-long project where I built a patio for my gazebo. Barrier was ineffective. It was timely & costly. I can't replace with better fabric because of how much work it would take to level and rebuild everything. Photo attached for reference. doesn't not show the weeds currently.

Weeds growing through within 2 weeks.
I wish I had read other reviews before buying and using 3 rolls of this around my house. Weeds grew through this within 2 weeks of application. I'm hoping if I kill them off that they won't come back, but that may be a fantasy. Go buy another brand of you want to block weeds.

very disappointing and waste of $ and effort
Screened soil before covering it with the Polypropylene Landscape Fabric. Completely covered it looked great. After planting it looked great. It did not take long before the weeds started growing through. Over time it continues to have weeds grow thought. It is as if there is no Landscape Fabric at all. It has become a garden of weeds in many areas. Waste of effort, time and $ very disappointing
