Living on a working farm requires watering a lot of animals, we had 1 well by the barn that we no longer used because the pump had gone bad. So when I had a chance to try out the Wayne upgraded 3/4 hp cast iron shallow well jet pump, I jumped on it. The hubby had to hook this one up for me, even though it had detailed instructions it was to difficult for me to understand. I think a working knowledge of plumbing is required for this. Now I don’t have to use city water for the animals anymore, I can use as much as I want the well is spring fed.

I got this pump about a month ago.
It is for indoor use only so needs to be in a pump house or another shelter and it is noisey so if anyplacy inside your home you will definitely it
The pump now has a leak on the casing in the underside of the pump.
The pump can't be used as is and the warranty process is a joke at best Wayne wants the buyer to pay shipping a 40lbs pump to the company to get the pump replaced
I do not recommend this pump DUE TO THE LACK OF QUALITY CONTROL AND POOR WARRANTY PROCESS.
If you purchase on your Home Depot credit card, they will typically allow returns to the store within a year.

We have some land that doesn’t have any power going to it nor does it have running water, we camp on it frequently and the only shower access is the one in the camper which is way to small and uses up our onboard water supply so we wanted to rig up a system that could get water from a brook about 150 feet away so that we could have an outdoor shower, well this worked perfectly. It’s made of cast iron so it should last a long time.

This is a great product we are very happy to have gotten our new well pump. Being made out of cast-iron gives you the security that is very well-made. And will last for a very long time. The three-quarter horsepower motor let you know that it will pump what needs to be pumped. This is a great product we are very happy with it.

If you have a shallow well this is the pump for you. It has more than enough power at three/fourths horse power. It shows on the box different pumps and applications too, to make sure you get the correct pump. I installed a similar pumps for some friends in Wisconsin and their neighbor wanted this done for him now. I will be doing this job next week or so. If this pump is nearly the same installation it will be a breeze.
Wayne pumps have been around for many years now and I have these pumps in our house for the sump pit, nice and quiet.

A well-recommended pump.
If it lasts another 20 years I'm happy with it. Seems to work fine out of the box (once I put the 1-way valve back in.) Had to adjust the pressure in the air tank to cut down on pulsing but everything seems hunky-dory now. A well-recommended pump.
