30 in. 5.3 cu. ft. Electric Range with 5-Elements and Frozen Bake Technology in Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Whirlpool 5.3 cu. ft. Electric Range came with my new construction home. I would probably never think about an Electric Range since I’m used to gas ranges my whole life. Since this is Florida, the ELECTRIC RANGE capital of the US, I’m used to it and it works flawlessly. It has 4 burners and a warmer which gas ranges don’t have. Works perfectly and it is surprisingly easy to keep clean. We love the Whirlpool Electric Range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the stove when we upgraded all of our appliances. First I suggest you be careful when selecting appliances online because all the whirlpool stainless appliances do not match even though they appear to in pictures. This stove has great features but I have to admit it doesn’t seem as well-made as appliances from 10 years ago. The biggest flaw is the stove vent that vents directly under the stainless portion of the back and it’s very visible. It also doesn’t seem to be mounted sturdily. We can actually move it some. On this model you cannot adjust the clock light so we had to put window darkening film over the clock light so it wouldn’t light up the kitchen and living room at night, it is very bright without it. I also don’t like the caution stickers that are visible above the oven door. To me they are very noticeable and unsightly. I probably wouldn’t purchase this appliance again because when I purchase appliances I want something that works great, functions well and looks good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new range, as my 23 year old GE was acting strange. This one has a great oven; I like the keep warm feature. The 5 top burners (2 melt & 1 keep warm) are convenient. Glass top surface is hard to keep clean, even with commercial stovetop cleaner. A basic “no frills “ range that serves me well.

The bottom tray is missing the glides and supports to allow the bottom tray to move in and out. It makes that tray useless and subject to damage, since it is not secured. I have been unable to secure parts so my rating is based on the fact that this item was poorly QC'd before delivery and made.

We are so happy with this range. Great looking stove top and the oven size is just right for us. Lasagna and bread fit on the rack together. We have already recommended it to a friend.

We have owned this range for 2 1/2 years. It has worked well and looks like new. We always clean the top when needed. I'd suggest "Weiman Cook Top Cleaning Kit." I've read the negative reviews and I suppose there are lemons that slip through to the consumer. That's just the way it is, but for the most part the good ones far out way the bad. We like it's features.
