Second chance!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve purchased this gas range double oven twice within two years apart. Whirlpool is my favorite appliance but this range I tried to give a second chance! Now both times I’ve had this range the computer has broken and I can’t use the oven… I’m very sad! The cost to fix it is just as much to purchase another! I’m not buying a third! Waiting for insurance to kick in so whirlpool can come out to fix!

Almost burned our house down!
The wiring in this stove is not safe. After losing ignition in 4 burners, we lifted the top to check the problem. The wires were not properly covered and the bare wires were touching under the back right burner. After covering the wires properly, the stove ignited without an issue.
There's also a big burned spot on top of the control knob panel that appeared overnight when the stove was not being used. It's burning hot even though the stove has been off for 18+ hours. Seriously, no recalls??

Beware, range will not work during power outage
I absolutely love my range and the double oven is super convenient. However, it is a huge disappointment that I missed this will not work during a power outage. If i had seen that, I would have definitely gone a different route. Oh well my fault but I hope this helps someone looking into this.

Hs oven ELECTROCUTED ME and it cut me.
I was cleaning the inside of the oven with a wet clothe and the light was on and when I was wiping near the light it electrocuted me, not like a little zap. Then I took a break from cleaning it and came back and while I was wiping the floor beneath it reaching just like a half an inch under it as I was sliding my hand cleaning up stuff it sliced the crap out of the top of my finger.

Only Good for 3 years
I waited to review this product until I had used it for a few years. Suffice to say, I would not recommend it.
Within 3 years the heating element on the bottom needed to be replaced. 6 months later the heating element on the top has now stopped working. The display area by the clock cracked from the heat almost immediately after I started using it (see photo).
While it was working as I had hoped it was an excellent oven and produced good results both on the cooktop and in the oven.

Please recall this faulty appliance
The control panel warped twice on me. I’m on my third control panel and I’m crossing my fingers that it doesn’t warp again from the heat. I’m narrowing down to the oven exhaust vent that is located underneath the control panel. I think it’s a bad engineering design and poor materials selection of membrane. The membrane is not rated for heat.
