              A:  they would however as they are made with eastern white pine it is recommended to seal all knots with a shellac based BIN Sealer to prevent them bleeding through any paint finish you may choose.

                Q:I am in Enfield, Ct. is there in store cutting of the lumber to 4ft from the 12ft? I am in a condo and do not have a saw handy. But I would like to use this board in 4ft height, so I'd get 2 boards out of the one..

                  A:  Due to the thickness and species beings softwood we do not recommend this for a flooring application unless placed over existing flooring / plywood. Also the ship lap square edge has a rough face. The reverse smooth face is edge V so when 2 boards are connected they create a V which would be a magnet for dirt and debris.
