        A:  Barry, We do not have an Aluminum Rod at the requested length. The size and part number we do have is a 42 inch one, part number SP12938.

                      A:  tried installing it. you will break the connection between the sausage links of the rod, in bending it. luckily, it just breaks the outer coating, and there's still a cable type string thing inside holding it together. but it can break off easily too.
