A:  Glasses are a bit of a problem, depends also on the frames. But ears are more important during work. I dont use gear all 8 hours... wear contacts!

A:  The frame on my glasses is very thin and this does not cause any pain whatsoever when I use it. If your glasses have a thicker / wider style frame though it is probable that any headphones of any style or brand may cause pain if worn long enough.

A:  Very comfortable. I wear them for hours at a time. The secret is for the earphones to press the glasses stem against the side of the head and not down on the ear. If you’re careful about that you can wear these earphones indefinitely.

      A:  No

A:  Hello! The unit is first and foremost a hearing protector and will only get to a certain level of dB. However, with the Safe Volume Control feature on this design, it actually has a higher dB limit on it than our previous model. The only thing we can think of is that you may have it on the lower set dB (limiter), rather than the default Safe Volume Control (Dosimeter). To see if that is it, please use the following steps to set your unit in to the Safe Volume Control (Dosimeter) mode: 1 Unit needs to be off 2 Press and hold Power Button and Center of Tuning Dial together 3 Voice Assist will say, “Settings Menu” 4 Press Center Dial to toggle between menu items. 5 Stop when you hear either, “Dosimeter” or “Limiter” (not “Dosimeter Default Setting”) 6 Turn Scroll Wheel to toggle between “Dosimeter” and “Limiter” 7 “Dosimeter” is the “Safe Volume Control” technology 8 “Limiter” is to be used if the user wants to keep the max limit set at 82 decibels 9 Press “Function” key to exit once the desired setting is chosen If you have any questions or concerns please contact our support team at 1-800-494-3552 M-F 8am-5pm CT.

Q:I just got a new one, my third in over 15 years, and this one seems to have come preprogrammed in a different language. When I try to change modes it says something like "prepincia mode" and "macom mode". I can't find the "frequency mode" and "recall mode". So, it does not perform as indicated on the instructions. Any thoughts?

A:  They are adjustable. Depends on child's age. But I would say probably not less than 8 yrs, that is only a guess.

                      by|May 5, 2023

A:  It depends on the kid's head size, but I would think so. I work with primary grade children and some of them have hat sizes larger than mine. If a regular headset fits, these should work as well.

A:  While they are adjustable they are intended for adults. If the child is under 12 they will most likely be too large. For options please connect with our team at 1.800.243.4630 M-F 8am-4:30pm CT. Thanks for asking!
