Q:It says you can install gate as left or right opening. The latch has a side flange, so would need to be upside down on right opening gate, causing the latch lever/tongue to be always open. So how does this work?

Q:How easy is the gate latch to open for when friends come over? We plan to have the gate swing into our yard versus out towards the guests. We don't plan to lock it often if at all, and I want to make sure that my friends can enter through the gate. Thanks
