Q:Would these be sturdy enough to create a room divider by connecting 4 panels. If so what’s the most cosmetic way to connect the panels

Answer This Question

A:  If you framed out each panel, you could then attach hinges to the frames to use four panels to make a room divider-type screen. Home Depot has the framing material. Mine are framed and hanging on my front porch.

A:  The panels can be framed in using wood. The panels can then be screwed to the frame.

A:  This can be ordered in white. I bought black because it fit what I was doing better than white. Look on the Home depot website.

A:  Acurio panels come in white and can be painted using a latex based paint.

A:  You would not be happy trying to paint this. I don't think you'd ever be able to fully cover it.

                Answer This Question

A:  These panels will have the ability to bend around a slight curve.

                by|Aug 24, 2020

A:  Slight maybe but these are really made to be straight. They don’t have the flex I think you are looking for. The black with any movement shows stress.

A:  The panels are roughly 1/4 inch thick. So it should read .25 inch.

                  by|Aug 3, 2020

A:  No, they are .25 in. thick (quarter or 1/4 inch thick).

                  by|Aug 5, 2020

A:  Acurio Lattice panels listed here are 1/4'' thick.

                  by|Aug 3, 2020

A:  Yes, mine are .25 or quarter inch thick. Their Flyer says they make panels in .25 / .5 / .75 / 1.0 and 1.5 inch thickness.

A:  I have yet to see them but shipping weight is 7 lbs so that alone suggests stability. I have seen in the past what I would call trim that could serve as a 1" thick frame if you need it that thick. Wish you luck and will watch to see if anyone answers you.... It was so much easier last century when you could simply call the store and ask a human and know in less than 5 minutes.....but digital saves time...lol

A:  Yes, easily. I have several of these, a couple hanging for privacy, and a couple on an exterior wall. I have had them a few years and they look just like new. Very decorative. You will not be disappointed.

                        by|Jun 28, 2020

A:  Yes they are easy to drill through, recommend a pilot hole through the panel and then probably a masonry bit for the hardi plank. If the wall is not flat, the panels are flexible and may curve depending where they are attached. So if you don’t want that to happen you may want to build a frame around them first.

A:  Acurio Lattice panels are lightweight so heavy duty zip ties or wire could be used for install onto a fence.

A:  Sure. It is lightweight and depending on the fence you could use the various cutouts for connecting to the fence.

A:  Certainly heavy duty zip ties would work nicely- I used mine hanging. I use 2 "S" hooks small to hang mine from a 2nd floor- They look great. Went to order more and noticed during the time it took for shipping and delivery (3 weeks from NC to TN) that the costs have risen dramatically. Just remember- It's over priced plastic!
