I wouldn't recommend mixing the different paints together, especially if they are different sheens because it will have a finish that you won't be able to recreate if more paint is needed. If you want to paint the actual stairs, Dynasty Paint wouldn't be recommended because it shouldn't be used on surfaces that receive foot traffic. Using an eggshell sheen will help make the surface more resistant to wear and enhance the scrubbabability to help with cleaning.
