In that case, the first coat will act as a primer over the bare surface, and additional coats after that will provide coverage and uniformity. If you'd like to minimize the number of coats of paint needed, you can prime the surface with our Multi-Surface Primer beforehand. Higher temperatures can cause the coating to fail prematurely. For surfaces that get above 200 degrees. I'd recommend checking with your local home improvement store for high-heat paint. A:  Hi Blena, thanks for the question, Our Dynasty Paint is a great choice for the bathroom and around the shower areas, as long as it isn't in an area that comes into direct contact, or is submerged in water. It is mold and mildew-resistant coating. If there is existing mold and mildew on the walls, you would want to remove it first before painting. Also for bathrooms, a higher sheen is recommended such as semi-gloss or satin, as the sheen makes the surfaces easier to clean and helps protect against moisture. Have a great day! -Ronald
