Q:Looking to paint trim, baseboards and cabinets. What's the main difference between this and the Urethane Alkyd?

Answer This Question
A: Hi Will, thank you for your question. The Cabinet, Door, and Trim Paint has a faster drying time, allowing for a quicker return to service, while the Urethane Alkyd Paint provides excellent flow and leveling, similar to an oil-based finish, while still allowing for easy soap and water clean-up. Have a great day! - Randy

Q:In a closet that has cheap fake paneling. I want to paint it in a semi gloss white to reflect a bit of light, better visibility. Do I really need to sand, prime, or any other prep, besides washing the walls. Looking for cheap, easy, but decent. Thanks

A: Hi Janet, thank you for your question. We do recommend prepping the surface prior to painting for the best results. The surface should be sound, clean, dry, and scuff sanded to promote adhesion if the finish is glossy. Also, use the Kitchen, Bath and Trim Primer and Sealer to prime before painting. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna

Q:Hello, I read the best primer to apply under a blue-ish cabinet paint is BEHR KitchenBathTrim Interior Stain-Blocking Primer & Sealer No. 75. I saw only a white primer, do you have a transparent primer and sealer recommended for under this bluish- color?

A: Hi Floriana, thanks for the question. We don't have any transparent primers. I did want to point out that the primer can be tinted with up to 2 ounces of colorant to change the color so it isn't completely white. Have a great day! -Ronald
