Answer This Question
A: Hi Hous, thanks for the question. As long as the stucco isn't chalky after cleaning it a primer isn't needed. If the surface is chalky after it's cleaned, I'd recommend priming first with our Interior/Exterior Multi-Surface Stain-Blocking Primer & Sealer. Have a great day! -Ronald

Q:Can I use it in metal?

Answer This Question
A: Hi Rico, thanks for the question. If you're using the Elastomeric Paint for stucco, and there are areas of metal trim that need to be painted, you can go ahead and use the coating on those areas as well. I would recommend priming metal surfaces with an appropriate primer before painting such as our Interior/Exterior Multi-Surface Stain-Blocking Primer. If this is for a standalone metal project you're painting, I wouldn't recommend the Elastomeric Paint. Have a great day! -Ronald
