Q:Can anyone help me understand what is going on with my miter saw (pictured). More often than not while making a cut, I hear an odd sound and it comes in three's. When I look at the cut I can see three jagged cuts. I don't see any deflection on the blade and I only hear the sound when making a cut (pictured).

A:  With regard to the jagged cut some reasons that would cause a saw to not make clean cuts would be the fence and blade are misaligned. The blade is warped, damaged, or not installed correctly. The workpiece is not properly secured with a clamp for bevel cuts.       A:  The tallest stock that can be cut standing upright against the fence is 7 to 7.25in. A .75 thick stock will clear the blade. 1.5 stock will be tight in a miter saw only locked position. However, in a slide position it is not a problem. Any stock greater than 7.25in will hit the blade guard. This question is a moot point as the accuracy and operation of the saw in a Bevel cut will give the same result as standing on edge.

                              Q:I have and love this stand. A question for a Bosch rep: what are the specific as tions of the bolts, washers, and square lock washers used to mount the red secondary tool mount stop to the track? They don't seem to be mentioned in the instructions.

                              A:  The BoschTools answer above, unfortunately, doesn't meet my needs. The manual mentions many bolts, but it does not mention the bolts in the pre-assembled red secondary stop bar. See photo of the red bar on the track. What nut/bolt is that?

With regard to sizes, there's this 10mm x 100mm, 10mm x 55mm, 10mm x 50mm, 8mm x 45mm, 6mm x 45mm, 8mm x 50mm screws. For nuts, there are 8mm, 6mm, 10mm same goes to washers.                                   Q:Can you tell me how wide the main part of the deck is? Can you also tell me how far it is from the fence to the very back of the saw? How far the adjustment arm sticks out in front of the fence? Thanks in advance.
