A: I would recommend using regular door jamb material, hinges must be applied to the jamb and it must be solid wood to retain them.

Q:Should this be primed first for interior use? Will be using it for baseboard and trim around windows and doors. I know it’s primed, but does it need additional priming? Should it be sanded prior to priming or painting?

A: It is primed and will work for interior use. You can buy the interior paint and prime paint if you would like more protection.

A: Yes bathrooms are a good use. Use another coat of primer/paint or just primer to add extra protection in damp or wet locations.
