Q:Can a 1000W appliance be plugged in to each 110v outlet on the cord? What is the max limit of total wattage for the four 110 outlets?

Answer This Question
A: All of the receptacles on our generators can be used simultaneously. Since we are not sure about which specific model you are referring to, we cannot determine the max wattage. Depending on whatever the wattage rating is for your generator, do not overload it. Overloading a generator can potentially damage it or the load attached to it. Thank you.

A: This indicates separate circuits. Red is 120V 30A, the green is 120V 30A. The source is 240V and this cord splits that 240V down to two 120V. Thank you.

Q:When I plug in this cord, do I flip the switch to 240 or 120? I know it converts it to
120, but do I have the switch on 120 or 240?

Answer This Question
A: If you have a generator with a 120/240V switch, in order for the 240V outlet to be live, you need to select the 240V switch position. The output of the cord is 120V because it keeps the two 120V legs of the 240V outlet on the generator separate from one another. Thank you!
