A:  I'm so happy you asked this question! I bought these from some other source and couldn't find them again. I wanted a back-up set and now know where to get it. To answer your question, I've used ours for several years now and have had no issues with yellowing -- at least on white porcelain tile.

A:  There is SOME rubberized treatment on the underneath. Not as much as I would desire, but that kind of backing eventually breaks up and flakes off in the dryer. After 3 years, I have none of that with these. No problems with them laying flat.
