Q:The video shows almost all toggle bolts. The entire weight of everything is depending on wall anchors and the uprights and all the clothes and shoes depend on the upper horizontal bracket?

Answer This Question
A: the anchors in the vertical still standards aren't weight bearing they only prevent side to side movement. the horizontal bar bears all the weight and should be attached to studs.

A: Yes and however vertical brackets are used
by|Aug 14, 2023
A: This is the vertical support, all the horizontal pieces are supported by them. I'm not sure what it recommends, but I used 2 1/2" cabinet screws directly into the studs for the vertical supports every 1 ft (7 screws per 84" support) And I spaced the vertical supports to hit every stud. I used it for books and it's plenty sturdy. I don't think I would trust toggle bolts with that kind of wait. But I might over engineer things!
