    Answer This Question

A:  This Plywood is not exterior but with exterior house paint or something like marine varnish can handle the outside if you protect all sides of the board including the edges.

A:  This product does not have a hole, but we do offer a red oak and maple cornhole top as well. Email me at mhale@cfpwood.com and I can send you the link. Thanks -- Michael

      by|Jul 27, 2020

        A:  No pre drilled hole.

        by|Sep 1, 2020

          A:  No they don't.

          by|Jul 28, 2020

A:  No, use a piece of plywood or USB for corn whole game. This is too expensive to waste on this. No not pre drilled.

          by|Jul 27, 2020

A:  No they are not but why would you use beautiful red oak for a corn hole game? A little over kill but it would look great and unique!

A:  Yes, but I would use a wooden trim to help keep the shape.

            by|Jun 26, 2021

A:  By all means: of course, being plywood, it would require edging to look good.

            by|Jun 1, 2020

A:  Yes I purchased 1x2 oak boards to finish around the edges and sanded, stained and finished with varnish, turned out great, hope this helps.

A:  Yes! But veneer the edges of the panel if possible. Or install flexible plastic edging. This will protect your PC and device wires from possible abrasion. The panel takes either stain or paint equally well.

A:  Depends: steam would ruin plywood. But if you're sure no steam, it would be fine.

Q:I want to make a 2'x4' desk top out of this. QUESTION:. I want it to be sturdy/and not end up bowing. Is the 3/4 inch thick enough OR would it be better to just glue 2 1/2 inch boards together to get a thick 1 inch board? I have some IKEA legs that I will attach this to ALSO: Where would you get the trim veneer to go around the edge of the boards to finish it? Does that come in 1 inch wide strips?? thanks

                  Answer This Question

A:  I see no reason why it would not work just fine, and you should be able to find the veneer where you got the plywood.

                  by|Jun 3, 2020

A:  You can attach a wooden trim on the edges to reinforce the piece and it would also give a finish edge to the desk. I made a TV stand and looks great.

A:  The 3/4" panel should not bow significantly if kept in an interior, dry climate. Contact me to discuss this in more detail to make sure this is the right product, and I can also recommend some edge banding products. Thanks -- Michael 336-291-5869

A:  In my judgement, this hardwood plywood board would make a strong desk top. That's all I know about.

                      Answer This Question

A:  This type of plywood, which is actually rather nice, is not intended for flooring. It is not the same as oak plank flooring for homes and will not wear well in traffic areas. It's also not very water resistant. Depending on how much you wish to spend there are more suitable options that are waterproof and wear very well. I would recommend putting down plywood flooring sheathing (pine) then covering it with a quality waterproof vinyl flooring such as Armstrong Vinyl Plank Flooring. It will wear better than oak plywood looks very much like real wood.

A:  We typically do not recommend this product for flooring applications. The veneer is thin and may not hold up to heavy wear. If you have any questions, please contact Michael at 336-291-5869 - Michael

A:  Not at my store. The ones at the store had Oak and that size but also had many marks on the surface and the ply had splinters that was falling off on the side, as well as not enough for my project. I needed several pieces in excellent condition and it was easier to just order it.

A:  I looked at both and could not tell any difference, I chose the 2ft. X 4ft. as that was all I needed for the desk top. I was happy with what i ordered as no waist. I trimmed the desk top with !"X 2" Reed Oak.

A:  No. Its normal interior Veneer Plywood. However, you can use it outdoor if you use a Marine Varnish or some kind of exterior protection.

A:  It's considered "untreated", but in the manufacturing process, there may be chemicals used. I would consider it safe, but you may want to directly contact the manufacturer to double check if anything you consider harmful, is used.
