A:  I don't believe so but I've never tried to turn it back on after it shuts off.

A:  I probably don't have a answer for you. I bought this for my mother and once it is done brewing she shuts it off. She doesn't have a need to put it back on. Maybe there is a number for Cuisinart you can call to find out.

A:  For some reason, mine does not stay on 30 min, more like 15 min? Doesn't bother me, I use a Lg mug for coffee which is perfect amount

A:  I would think that if you were to turn it back on it would go thru the process cycle of trying to make another pot of coffee which might ruin the coffee maker since you didn't add water this time. Just a thought.

A:  No, it is not recommended to leave this product on after 30 minutes.

A:  Grasp it at the back edge and lift it off. It comes off easily.

A:  You have lift the lid tab on the handle, then it comes completely off.

A:  You know I had a prob with this too. The handle is scored at the top where thumb goes lift at score toward front of machine. Whole thing will lift off. Good luck. Betsy

A:  You can pour water in the the opening where the coffee enters the carafe. I use a measuring cup to add tap water, or directly from a pure water container (1 gal.) . There are very visible columns inside the main tank to make adding water accurate. To remove the carafe lid, pull it up at the seam next to the handle.... instead of the usual rocker hinge, this is the release point to unsnap the lid.

A:  Lift the lid up and pour in water.

A:  You lift lid back & pour water into top opening in back, easy to do.

A:  The lid comes completely off.

A:  The lid to the carafe is not a rocker lid, but it does come off the carafe for cleaning.

A:  The lid of the carafe is a separate piece and removes completely.
