Q:Does this waffle maker works at 220V??

Answer This Question
A: I am very happy with this product, HOWEVER, like most appliances sold these days in the U.S., I could almost guarantee it's made for 110 v circuits!
If you need to use it on a 220 circuit, I understand there is a gadget called a converter that you plug in between the socket and the appliance that will make it safe to use.
Check with an electrician to be sure I'm correct. Good luck!

Answer This Question
A: The baking surfaces are covered in a non stick material that seems to work pretty well, but it is not Teflon.
by|Jul 22, 2019
A: They are non-stick baking plates. Depending on the batter used, you may need to spray with non-stick cooking/baking spray sometimes.
by|Aug 6, 2019
A: Yes, they are coated in Teflon. Great little waffle maker. I've had no issues with sticking what so ever.

Q:How thick are the waffles, pancake depth, or 1 inch deep?
by|Jun 30, 2019

Answer This Question
A: The waffles themselves are about 1/4” to 1/3”thick. When you include the rough texture of a waffle, then it’s slightly thicker
by|Jul 22, 2019
A: They are normal waffle sized, closer to pancake depth. They are not the thicker Belgian-style waffles.
by|Aug 6, 2019
A: Definitely thicker than a pancake. It would depend on your recipe as well. I'm guessing anywhere from 1/2"-1".
by|Dec 13, 2020
A: I estimate thickness at 3/4 - 7/8 inch depending on amount of batter used and degree of cooking.

Answer This Question
A: no
by|Apr 9, 2019
A: I don't know what they are made of. They are non-stick & so far it's worked well- but the smell is really bad.
by|May 5, 2023
A: No they are not but they are non stick coated. My wife and I love ours and it we use it several times a month. I would give it a strong recommend especially for the price!
by|May 5, 2023
A: I can't be positive about the plates being cast iron, BUT I will say this: the outside is chrome or steel, the interior is non-stick, I cannot see the interior between these 2 surfaces. However, it is pretty heavy for its' size, so I would think the interior would be cast iron.
Sorry I can't be more definite; I believe you would be happy with this product. I am.
