For kitchen and bath applications, we would recommend the use of a more specialized kitchen and bath product such as: KWIK SEAL ULTRA, DAP AMP Advanced Modified Polymer Waterproof Kitchen, Bath and Plumbing Sealant, Silicone Max 100% Premium Kitchen and Bath Silicone Sealant. Per product label and supporting literature: Adheres to Wood (painted & unpainted), glass, Ceramic, Porcelain Vinyl Most plastics (PVC, ABS) aluminum, most metals, Drywall Plaster, Composite materials, fiber cement board, fiberglass, most common building materials. Because you did not identify the material/composition of the fixture, we are not able to provide a more detailed response.
