A:  These registers are rated for light foot-traffic only. I would recommend a heavy duty register if your vent is in the middle of a walkway. Something that is full steel construction.

A:  This rubbed bronze is similar to a very dark brown with hints of red/purple in certain lights and the product photos are quite accurate.

A:  They do not have pre-drilled holes, but the flange is large enough you could drill a hole in each side and put a black head screw in them to attach to floor.

A:  They are 1.41 inches deep. For a door vent, I would recommend either an air return grille or a wall and ceiling register, as they have mounting holes for screws.

A:  Yes, you can easily remove the damper box, which is simply attached to the register faceplate by clicking into 4 tabs.

A:  We got the floor model. Do not see how this model can be used for wall unless you create a custom solution.

A:  Yes different sizes. Don't know about wall vents

A:  Unfortunately we do not make any products in those sizes.

A:  The lower section that sits in the duct work is plastic. This ensures there will be no rusting inside you duct work and that you can easily clean the product.
