A:  Hi Rb28, Yes we suggest doing a factory reset which can be found on the instructions or the back of the battery cover. Or you can give our customer service team a call at 877-663-5625 for more help with this issue. We are open Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM EST.

                    Q:How do you turn on the back light? I went outside tonight and when I turned to lock the door (lots of people nearby) I could not see any of the keypad figures. It lit up after I touched it, but I touched a number, when I wanted to find the lock symbol.

You can press the "C" button on the bottom left side of the lock to turn the lights on first before typing your code.
