A:  Dear UK60, Thank you for the question. The Commix Sliding Shower Doors can be installed into a molded pan, however you must ensure that you have at least 2 1/4" minimum depth on your sill. The door is recommended to be installed with the sliding panel on the same side as the shower head for maximum water retention. If installed in the opposite orientation, water leakage may occur.
