A: Hi Ralph,
Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B510LF-PPU-12.
The included drain assembly has overflow holes for a sink with an overflow. For a sink without an overflow, we carry the RP101632PC Metal Push-Pop Without Overflow.

A: No, it is for a sink with overflow. There is a couple of inches between the flange inside the sink where the stopper sits and the big nut and rubber washer under the sink. There are holes in the main tube of the drain kit to allow overflow water in.

Q:The instructions indicate silicone is to be used during the installation process on the underside of the flange. Great. Silicone adhesive? Silicone caulk? Silicone sealant? Silicone lubricant? Come on folks, do better.

A: I just used the 100 Silicone sealant in the tube. I think we used to call it RTV. It was whitish. It turns kind of rubbery in 20 minutes or so.

Q:How do I get the aerator off this faucet? It won't turn counter clockwise and it pushes up and down?

Answer This Question
A: Hi kcpetite1,
Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B510LF-PPU-12.
The aerator unscrews counterclockwise from the perspective of being below the spout. If it is difficult to turn, carefully soaking the area with 50/50 white vinegar and water can help remove mineral deposits to more easily turn the aerator.
Please reach out with any additional questions!
