A:  The shutters are completely natural with no stain or sealer on them. They can be stained or painted, or left in their natural cedar state.

      A:  The only metal used in the construction of the shutters are the 7/32" x 1-1/4" furniture staples - they are not stainless steel.

        A:  Hi Lacey. No, the shutters only come in rectangles for windows. Your best bet might be to try the area lumberyards for a reference to a builder that can custom make some for you. Thank you.

                  Q:How do you install these flush to a brick facade? Ordered these to replace ugly flat vinyl shutters. Does the hardware include anchors/instructions? I don't want them to move/open/close - they're for decorative purposes only. Thanks!

                  A:  Answering my own question - these DO come with anchor hardware and simple instructions for installation.

                    A:  The shutters come with hardware for wood plus instructions. If you're attaching to brick, you'll need hardware specifically designed for brick attachment.

                      A:  We attached ours to brick with generous amounts of liquid nails, then propped them with poles against the eaves until we were sure they were dry.
