A: I didn't add gaskets to mine and i am very satisfied with the performance. Had it for several years.
A: Hello Okie, this smoker is not designed for use with a gasket. The door latch locks the door tightly closed to keep the smoke inside. - GHP Group Customer Support
A: None come with it
A: No, mine did not have a door gasket on either the top or bottom door. Would have been better with gaskets. I bought my own gaskets and applied them to both doors.
A: no, 1/2" x 1/8" Lavalock High Temp Nomex BBQ HT gasket smoker seal, self stick grey for 12 $$
A: No, it does not have a door gasket, but it still seems to seal pretty well and doesn't seep out a lot of smoke - or really any smoke that I have noticed and this is after a few years of owning it.
A: No, but you can easily add, as I and others have, it makes a big difference.

A: Excellent, I did only a brisket OMG best ever. Right now I am smoking 4 rack of ribs
A: I would think it would do fine as long as you are careful to control your fire. It has vents on the sides and the top and as long as you use a thermometer or you are generally familiar with various smoking techniques, you should be fine. I love this smoker and I have had it for several years now and it is still in great shape. I do keep it covered when not in use.
A: I smoked 2 racks of baby back ribs, did great. You can find different ways to smoke them on the internet
A: Hello Evan, we hope the previous answer was helpful! A: I have not had any problems with warping. The metal doesn't seem too thin or shall I say actually seems heavier than comparable models. I have had this smoker for several years and use it regularly and have had no problems.
A: It got very hot and did not warp
A: I've never had a problem with it warping. If someone is getting this hot enough to warp the metal then they're probably not using it right in the first place, smokers don't need to get that hot.

A: This product must place in a dry and safety place. Follow all warnings and instructions when using.
A: That probably would depend on the "slot", but I would say no. The vents are on the bottom and you need room to open the doors wide so you can easily slide the racks in and out. I am very pleased with this purchase - I think I have had it for 4 or 5 years and it is still in great condition. I keep it outside all year; covered when not in use.
A: Hello Cpribbin, as long as the area around the smoker is clear and free (at least 36") of combustible materials and vapors it will work in a space of a bbq island, just be sure to measure the slot carefully to be sure this will fit and function properly! -GHP Group Customer Support
A: The handles, legs and hinges might be in the way but you can just not install the handles and legs possibly. The hinges allow for the doors to open 270 degrees so they might be an issue.
A: if in stone or non flammable surroundings
A: Probably not a good idea, here's why... 1. There is a sliding vent on each lower side panel, there needs to be sufficient air flow around the sides to allow for proper combustion air. If the opening is right up against the side of the unit, then you would be unable to adjust the sliding air vent. 2. The unit would need to stick out in front of the island, the door needs to be open almost all the way to be able to remove the racks. If this unit was inset into an island, it may interfere with the opening of the doors. Hope this info helps your decision, btw this is a great smoker.
